Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

TFCD-Net: Target and False Alarm Collaborative Detection Network for Infrared Imagery
Infrared small target detection (ISTD) plays a crucial role in both civilian and military applications. Detecting small targets against dense cluttered backgrounds remains a challenging task, requiring the collaboration of false alarm source elimination ...

LFM Radar Convolution Jamming Suppression Based on Oblique Projection in FrFT Domain
Convolution false-targets jamming against LFM fire-control radars generates range and velocity false targets which are coherent with target echo, which increases the difficulty of jamming detection and suppression and makes the victim radar system lost ...

Theoretical performance analysis of the W-ABORT detector [PDF]
In a recent paper we introduced a modification of the adaptive beaniformer orthogonal rejection test (ABORT) for adaptive detection of signals in unknown noise, by supposing under the null hypothesis the presence of signals orthogonal to the nominal ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

High frequency radar has a wide monitoring range and low range resolution. It may contain multiple targets or outlier interference phenomena in different clutter regions of the range–Doppler (RD) spectrum in detected background.

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Search times and false targets
This report describes an analysis of some simulated search time data. The purpose of the report is to provide a guide for estimating the impact of false targets on the time a searcher is exposed to hostile action. The program that was used to generate the search time data is listed in the report. Keywords: Search; False targets; Search time.
