Angle inversion based on anti-jamming against deceptive multiple false targets

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
Based on digital radio frequency memory technology, jammers can copy the radar signal multiple times by different time delay and frequency shift to form deceptive multiple false targets.

Multiple Target, Multiple Type Filtering in the RFS Framework

open access: yes, 2019
A Multiple Target, Multiple Type Filtering (MTMTF) algorithm is developed using Random Finite Set (RFS) theory. First, we extend the standard Probability Hypothesis Density (PHD) filter for multiple types of targets, each with distinct detection ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Target-small decoy search strategy for false discovery rate estimation [PDF]

open access: yesBMC Bioinformatics, 2019
One of the most important steps in peptide identification is to estimate the false discovery rate (FDR). The most commonly used method for estimating FDR is the target-decoy search strategy (TDS). While this method is simple and effective, it is time/space-inefficient because it searches a database that is twice as large as the original protein ...

A Novel Deceptive Jamming Approach for Hiding Actual Target and Generating False Targets

open access: yesWireless Communications and Mobile Computing, 2021
Deceptive jamming is a popular electronic countermeasure (ECM) technique that generates false targets to confuse opponent surveillance radars. This work presents a novel approach for hiding the actual target while producing multiple false targets at the same time against frequency diverse array (FDA) radar.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...
