Topology‐Enabled Finite‐Band Absorption Framework Based on a Bioinspired Nested Dual‐Loop Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A nuclear‐pore‐inspired nested dual‐loop architecture redistributes electromagnetic energy through coupled transport, confinement, and dissipation pathways. Integrated with Co/Fe3O4 dual‐magnetic composites and topology optimization, the 11‐mm‐thick absorber delivers continuous 2–40 GHz attenuation, raises finite‐band structural utilization to 82%, and

Multiphoton Quantum Reservoirs For Robust Multidimensional Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Projective measurements reveal hidden multidimensional quantum networks within classical multiphoton fields, enabling robust quantum reservoirs for room‐temperature quantum simulation, prediction, and information processing. These networks transform noisy classical photonic platforms into scalable quantum computational architectures.

Investigations of the Evolved Molecular Basis for Terpenoid Biosynthesis in Marine Sponges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Confirming and extending a previous observation in another Bubarida sponge, genomic and functional analyses of A. cavernosa reveal that sponges retain the mevalonate pathway and employ single α‐domain T1TSs and UbiA‐type TSs for terpenoid biosynthesis. The absence of T1TSs clustering with other biosynthetic genes tentatively suggests, based on limited ...

Light‐Controlled Conductive Molecular Wire in an Artificial Lipid Membrane

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A photochromic azobenzene derivative is shown to produce a unique photoelectric response when embedded in artificial lipid membranes. In its trans state, it forms conductive “molecular wires” that enhance membrane conductivity in the dark. Light‐induced cis isomerization suppresses this effect, showing that short‐chain molecules can modulate membrane ...
