Electric Quadrupole–Driven Quasi‐BIC Resonances in Terahertz Free‐Standing Metasurface
Advanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.The design, fabrication, and experimental validation of a free‐standing terahertz metasurface supporting quasi–bound states in the continuum (quasi‐BICs) is presented. Laser‐cut brass metasurfaces exhibit tunable transitions from symmetry‐protected BICs to sharp resonances, with high‐Q responses confirmed by THz‐TDS.
