Novi Bc hibridi kukuruza FAO grupe 300 i 400

Suša predstavlja sve veći problem u ratarskoj proizvodnji, pogotovo kod uzgoja kukuruza. Radi rasta potražnje za hibridima kukuruza ranijih vegetacijskih grupa (FAO 300 i FAO 400) koji zbog ranije cvatnje mogu izbjeći kritični period nedostatka vode, Bc Institut kreirao je nove hibride kukuruza FAO 300 i FAO 400 vegetacijske grupe.

Uz prinos zrna i otpuštanje vode iz zrna, jedno od najvažnijih poželjnih svojstava u oplemenjivanju kukuruza je i tolerantnost na stresne uvjete proizvodnje kao što je suša koja je u različitim intenzitetima bila prisutna u četiri od zadnjih pet godina u RH.
