FAPI Uptake in a Vertebral Body Fracture in a Patient With Lung Cancer

Abstract A left pulmonary nodule was identified by CT scan in a 53-year-old woman who had a car accident 10 days earlier. 18F-FDG PET/CT showed multiple FDG-avid lesions located at the left lung nodule, mediastinal lymph nodules, and L4 vertebral body. 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT was performed for further evaluation.

Abstract A 47-year-old woman presented with low back pain for 2 months. Her CT scan showed a soft tissue mass in S3 to S4 vertebral bodies. The patient was subsequently enrolled in our 68Ga-FAPI clinical trial on tumors (ChiCTR2100044131). Increased tracer uptake was noted in the sacrum.

Elevated FAPI Activity in Ulcerative Fungal Esophagitis

Abstract We report a case of ulcerative fungal esophagitis with elevated activity of 18F-FDG and 68Ga-FAPI (fibroblast-activating protein inhibitor). Our findings suggest that ulcerative fungal esophagitis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of cancer-like esophageal mass with increased 68Ga-FAPI uptake.
