Abstract Contrast CT revealed diffuse enlargement of the pancreas with a suspicious lesion in the uncinate process in a 57-year-old man who presented with jaundice. 18F-FDG PET/CT showed increased radioactivity in the enlarged pancreas with a nodular lesion with even higher uptake in the uncinate process.

Recent Clinical Implications of FAPI
Clinical Nuclear MedicineAbstract The fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is a biomarker that is selectively overexpressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in various types of tumoral tissues and some nonmalignant diseases, including fibrosis, arthritis, cardiovascular, and metabolic diseases.

Head-to-head comparison of 68Ga-FT-FAPI with 68Ga-FAPI-04 in patients with gastrointestinal tumors
European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular ImagingFT-FAPI (FT, fast treatment) is a new FAP inhibitor with the potential to be used as a drug in boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT). The aim of this prospective study was to compare the diagnostic performance of 68Ga-FT-FAPI and 68Ga-FAPI-04 in patients with gastrointestinal (GI) tumors. The study enrolled patients with histologically confirmed GI ...

99mTc-FAPI-46 Scan and 177Lu-FAPI-2286 Treatment in a Patient With Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
Clinical Nuclear MedicineAbstract We present a 24-year-old man with a history of metastatic nasopharyngeal cancer. Despite receiving standard treatments, including surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy, he has shown progression. Consequently, he has been referred to the nuclear medicine department for theranostic purposes.

FAPI-avid Lesions in the Brain
Clinical Nuclear MedicineA 63-year-old man presented with transient global amnesia, urinary incontinence, and a visual field deficit. MRI revealed a heterogeneous mass in the left parieto-occipital lobe, diagnosed as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Following craniotomy, chemotherapy with temozolomide and radiotherapy were initiated.

Elevated 68Ga-FAPI Activity in Leiomyosarcoma
Clinical Nuclear MedicineAbstract Leiomyosarcoma is an aggressive subtype of soft tissue sarcoma with frequent metastatic relapse after curative surgery. Herein, we report the 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT findings in a 45-year-old woman with leiomyosarcoma. 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT detected increased FAPI uptake in abdominal leiomyosarcoma and liver metastases.

Lupus Nephritis Revealed by FAPI PET/CT
Clinical Nuclear MedicineAbstract A 38-year-old woman received a 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT scan for the evaluation of systemic lupus erythematosus. Diffuse uptake in both kidney parenchyma indicated the presence of lupus nephritis. In addition, an incidental carotid body tumor with increased FAPI uptake was also observed.

Elevated FAPI Activity in an Adult Brodie Abscess
Clinical Nuclear MedicineAbstract We report an adult Brodie abscess with elevated activity of 18F-FDG and 68Ga-FAPI (fibroblast activating protein inhibitor), mimicking bone metastasis. Our case illustrates that Brodie abscess should also be contemplated in the differential diagnosis of osteolytic lesions with increased 68Ga-FAPI uptake.
