Exploring Stochastic Heat Equations: A Numerical Analysis with Fast Discrete Fourier Transform Techniques

open access: yesAxioms
This paper presents an innovative numerical technique for specific classes of stochastic heat equations. Our approach uniquely combines a sixth-order compact finite difference algorithm with fast discrete Fourier transforms.

Local affine image matching and synthesis based on structural patterns [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A general purpose block-to-block affine transformation estimator is described. The estimator is based on Fourier slice analysis and Fourier spectral alignment.

Fast Charge–Discharge of LiNi0.9Co0.05Mn0.05 Enabled by a Bikitaite‐Infused Separator for Li Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A bikitaite‐infused cellulose separator is introduced for Li metal batteries, leveraging bikitaite zeolite's ion‐conductive properties to regulate Li+‐ion flux and suppress dendrite growth. The membrane design ensures uniform Li plating, enhanced electrolyte wettability, and robust thermal/mechanical stability, delivering stable performance and low ...

Accelerating the calibration of stochastic volatility models [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper compares the performance of three methods for pricing vanilla options in models with known characteristic function: (1) Direct integration, (2) Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), (3) Fractional FFT. The most important application of this comparison

Semianalytical description of the modulator section of the coherent electron cooling

open access: yesPhysical Review Special Topics. Accelerators and Beams, 2013
In the coherent electron cooling, the modern hadron beam cooling technique, each hadron receives an individual kick from the electric field of the amplified electron density perturbation created in the modulator by this hadron in a copropagating electron

Computing the fast Fourier transform on SIMD microprocessors

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis describes how to compute the fast Fourier transform (FFT) of a power-of-two length signal on single-instruction, multiple-data (SIMD) microprocessors faster than or very close to the speed of state of the art libraries such as FFTW (“Fastest ...
