Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Voltage collapse prediction and control of a power system using hybridized classical probability theory and voltage stability indices

open access: yesDiscover Electronics
The incessant voltage collapse incidences on the Nigeria National grid is a serious concern. The primary dependability issue of voltage collapse makes it difficult to operate a reliable and secure power system network.

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Voltage stability index for under voltage load sheeding scheme

open access: yes, 2010
Power system is a nonlinear system that operates in a constantly changing environment. When subjected to a disturbance, the stability of the system depends on the initial operating condition as well as the nature of the disturbance.

Voltage stability assessment of power systems using voltage stability indices and artificial intelligence techniques [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The research presented in this thesis uses the Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to assess the voltage stability condition in power systems. Voltage stability index is a feature for evaluating the voltage stability condition.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

A new weak area identification method in power system based on voltage stability. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Identification of voltage stability weak area in power system plays an important role in preventing the occurrence of voltage collapse. A fast and accurate identification method helps power system operators to apply voltage stability control action on ...
