MAFLD - a new approach to fatty liver disease
Fatty liver disease associated with metabolic dysfunction (MAFLD) is a term introduced in 2020 to refer to fatty liver disease associated with systemic metabolic dysregulation. The name change from nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) to fatty liver

Intraoral Drug Delivery: Bridging the Gap Between Academic Research and Industrial Innovations
Intraoral drug delivery offers a promising route for systemic and localized therapies, yet challenges such as enzymatic degradation, limited permeability, and microbial interactions hinder efficacy. This figure highlights innovative strategies—mucoadhesive materials, enzyme inhibitors, and permeation enhancers—to overcome these barriers.

Proximate and fatty acid composition of liver and fatty tissue of patin catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) [PDF]
The visceral storage fat and liver of patin catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) are normally discarded, which incurs cost and can cause environmental pollution. However, these may be potential sources to extract fish oil.
