Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

Backup protection method for half-wavelength transmission lines based on inverse-time characteristic
The advantages of ultra-high voltage (UHV) Half-wavelength AC transmission (HWACT) technology are achieving full-line reactive power self-balancing without the need for reactive power compensation equipment along the line and avoiding the Ferranti effect.

Attitude Fault-Tolerant Control of Aerial Robots with Sensor Faults and Disturbances
In this paper, sensor fault diagnosis and fault tolerant control strategy are investigated for quadcopters under sensor faults and disturbances. We propose the fault diagnosis estimation system and the fault-tolerant control (FTC) method.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Sensorless control of deep-sea ROVs PMSMs excited by matrix converters [PDF]
The paper reports the development of model-based sensorless control methodologies for driving PMSMs using matrix converters. In particular, experimental results show that observer-based state-estimation techniques normally employed for sensorless control

Adaptive fault tolerant control against actuator faults
SummaryThis paper investigates the problem of adaptive fault tolerant control for a class of dynamic systems with unknown un‐modeled actuator faults. The fault model is assumed to be an unknown nonlinear function of control input, not in the traditional form in which the faults can be described as gain and/or bias faults.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
