Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Improved Low Voltage Ride-Through Capability of DFIG with ESO Controller under Unbalanced Network Conditions

open access: yesMajlesi Journal of Electrical Engineering
Under unbalanced grid condition, in a Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG), voltage, current, and flux of the stator become asymmetric. Therefore, active-reactive power and torque will be oscillating.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Analisa Penggunaan Superconducting Fault Current Limiter (SFCL) Untuk Melindungi Peralatan di PT Pindo Deli

open access: yesJurnal Teknik ITS, 2015
Increas demand load and power capacity requirement at PT Pindo Deli then the short circuit current that occur will be greater. this can cause damage to electrical equipment located around the point of interrupting and resulting failure of the electrical ...

Fault ride-through enhancement of fixed speed wind turbine using bridge-type fault current limiter

open access: yesJournal of Electrical Systems and Information Technology, 2016
The interaction between wind energy turbines and the grid results in two main problems, increasing the short-circuit level and reducing the Fault Ride-Through (FRT) capability during faults.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Loss Consideration of Magnetic Fault Current Limiter

open access: yes, 2009
Current suppression devices such as fault current limiter (FCL), which have high impedance under fault conditions and low impedance under normal conditions, are required to reduce excessive current in power distribution lines, when fault such as short ...

High Temperature Superconducting Partial Core Transformer and Fault Current Limiter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The thesis begins with an introduction to transformer theory. The partial core transformer is then introduced and compared with a full core design. A brief introduction to superconductors and high temperature superconductors is then presented.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Using non-superconducting fault current limiter as inrush current limiter

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, inrush current limitation of transformer using a bridge type fault current limiter (FCL) as inrush current limiter is proposed.
