I-GhostNetV3: A Lightweight Deep Learning Framework for Vision-Sensor-Based Rice Leaf Disease Detection in Smart Agriculture

open access: yesSensors
Accurate and timely diagnosis of rice leaf diseases is crucial for smart agriculture leveraging vision sensors. However, existing lightweight convolutional neural networks (CNNs) often struggle in complex field environments, where small lesions ...

Composite Fault Diagnosis for Rotating Machinery of Large Units Based on Evidence Theory and Multi-Information Fusion

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2019
Due to the complexity of the structure and process of large-scale petrochemical equipment, different fault characteristics are mixed and present multiple couplings and ambiguities, leading to the difficulty in identifying composite faults in rotating ...

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Identifying gene expression signatures for risk stratification of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy in colorectal cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A novel signature integrating genome‐wide analysis with clinical factors predicts recurrence in stage II colorectal cancer and enables a new risk stratification to guide postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy. Clinical risk stratification for postoperative recurrence in patients with pathological stage II (pStage II) colorectal cancer (CRC) is essential ...

Critical fault patterns determination in fault-tolerant computer systems [PDF]

open access: yes
The method proposed tries to enumerate all the critical fault-patterns (successive occurrences of failures) without analyzing every single possible fault.

Re‐Awakening Public Attention to the Silent Pandemic of Cancer Among Older Adults in Low‐ and Middle‐Income Countries

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As global populations age, cancer is increasingly becoming a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among older adults, particularly in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs). Despite accounting for the majority of new cancer cases and deaths, older individuals remain underrepresented in cancer research, clinical guidelines, and health ...

Optimal Sequential Fusion Kalman Filter for Multi-Sensor Linear Systems with Noise Cross-Correlated

open access: yesSensors
For the state estimation problem of multi-sensor linear systems with noise cross-correlated, where process noise correlates with measurement noise and measurement noises are mutually correlated, researchers have long attempted to design a sequential ...
