FCS-MPC of Grid-Connected 9-Level Crossover Switches Cell Inverter
IECON 2020 The 46th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2020In this paper, a finite-control-set model predictive controller (FCS-MPC) is designed for a grid-connected single-phase crossover switches cell (CSC) multilevel inverter (MLI). The CSC inverter is a modified 3-cell packed-U-cells (PUC) MLI by adding two crossover switches between the two DC-link and the flying capacitor.

Modeling error compensation in FCS-MPC of a three-phase inverter
2012 IEEE International Conference on Power Electronics, Drives and Energy Systems (PEDES), 2012The optimal control action of the traditional finite control set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) of a three-phase inverter is selected with the supposition that the designed prediction model of three-phase inverter is consistent with the real system, and the influence of modeling errors is neglected.

A Single-Objective FCS-MPC Method for Three-Level APF
2019 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2019Finite control set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) scheme is applied to active power filter (APF), which has some advantages such as fast dynamic response, needlessness of modulation model. However, some problems exist such as large calculation and difficult selection for weighting factors.

Performance Analysis of FCS-MPC and PI-resonant Fault-tolerant Controllers for WECS
7th IET International Conference on Power Electronics, Machines and Drives (PEMD 2014), 2014One of the most attractive features of multiphase machines is the fault-tolerant capability it possesses due to the higher number of phases. Different post-fault control strategies based on hysteresis, PI-resonant and predictive techniques have been recently proposed.
