Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Calculated oscillation periods of the interlayer coupling in Fe/Cr/Fe and Fe/Mo/Fe sandwiches [PDF]
We have performed an ab initio study of the oscillation periods of the interlayer coupling in sandwiches of [100] layers of body centered cubic Cr, respectively, Mo, with up to 20 monolayers thickness embedded in an Fe host. Our derived values for the oscillation periods of the interlayer coupling agree well with those expected from the respective ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Purification of LiF Powder by Zone Melting Method [PDF]
In order to achieve high quality crystals, it is necessary to purify the raw material. In the present experimental study, the zone melting method was used to purify Lithium Flouride powder. A small amount of melt moves slowly from the solid area in order

Isotope shifts and hyperfine structure of the Fe I 372 nm resonance line
We report measurements of the isotope shifts of the $3d^64s^2 a ^5D_4 - 3d^64s4p z ^5F_5^o$ Fe I resonance line at 372 nm between all four stable isotopes $^{54}$Fe, $^{56}$Fe, $^{57}$Fe, and $^{58}$Fe, as well as the complete hyperfine structure of that

This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Bias voltage effects on tunneling magnetoresistance in Fe/MgAl${}_2$O${}_4$/Fe(001) junctions: Comparative study with Fe/MgO/Fe(001) junctions [PDF]
We investigate bias voltage effects on the spin-dependent transport properties of Fe/MgAl${}_2$O${}_4$/Fe(001) magnetic tunneling junctions (MTJs) by comparing them with those of Fe/MgO/Fe(001) MTJs. By means of the nonequilibrium Green's function method
