Study on phase transition phenomena in network traffic anomalies

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2006
Based on the theory of phase transition phenomena, the hypostases of network traffic anomalies with jam were researched.A new congestion mitigating mechanism with motional feedback of Hurst parameter was presented.Technical analysis and analog simulation ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

Finding Second-Order Stationary Points in Constrained Minimization: A Feasible Direction Approach [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper introduces a method for computing points satisfying the second-order necessary optimality conditions for nonconvex minimization problems subject to a closed and convex constraint set. The method comprises two independent steps corresponding to

A Method of Solving Dynamic Character of High-Speed Angular-Contact Ball Bearing in Matrix Form

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2009
:The high-speed angular cantact ball bearing under load at three direction is used widespread in industry, and the analysis of it’s dynamic character is the base of bearing design and research of spool system.

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

An active set feasible method for large-scale minimization problems with bound constraints [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We are concerned with the solution of the bound constrained minimization problem {minf(x), la parts per thousand currency signxa parts per thousand currency signu}. For the solution of this problem we propose an active set method that combines ideas from

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...
