MnI‐Functionalized Covalent Organic Framework as Efficient Electrocatalyst for CO2 Reduction in a Catholyte‐Free Zero‐Gap Electrolyzer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates the successful integration of a phenanthroline‐based 2D COF with MnI catalytic sites into a catholyte‐free membrane‐electrode‐assembly cell for CO2 electroreduction. The crystalline COF actively suppresses Mn⁰–Mn⁰ dimerization, achieving a turnover frequency of 617 h⁻¹ at 2.8 V (full‐cell potential), and enabling stable operation.

Evolving Platinum‐Copper Nanostructures for Enhanced Photothermal Therapy and Controlled Copper Release in Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Platinum‐Copper bimetallic nanoparticles may evolve depending on their synthesis under tumor microenvironment conditions and play a dual role as chemotherapeutic agents after releasing Cu ions and as near infrared photothermal agents with the Pt‐rich remaining frames.

A feed-restriction model to identify factors responsible for fescue toxicosis-induced reduction in food intake [abstract] [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
only availableFescue toxicosis results from intake of ergopeptine alkaloids derived from a fungus (Neotyphodium coenophialum ) in tall fescue, and produces reduced productivity. Contributors to this reduction are decreased feed intake and growth.

Vat Photopolymerization of High Molecular Weight Polymer Latexes with Pseudothermoplastic Properties for Recyclability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A photocurable latex system enables high‐resolution vat photopolymerization of water‐dispersed thermoplastics, yielding pseudothermoplastic materials with recyclability. The formulation permits precise control over mechanical properties and supports reprocessing through conventional and extrusion‐based methods. Compatibility with two‐photon 3D printing

Endocytic Programming via Porous Silicon Nanoparticles Enhances TLR4 Nanoagonist Potency for Macrophage‐Mediated Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Porous silicon nanoparticles (PSiNPs) reprogram macrophage endocytosis of manganese@albumin‐based TLR4 nanoagonists, driving TRIF‐biased TLR4 signaling, eliciting robust proinflammatory responses, and potentiating macrophage‐mediated immunotherapeutic effects against NSCLC.

Contribution of feeds from range in organic broiler production [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A study with organic broilers with access to a large range area with herbs was performed and the effect of three broiler genotype (JA757, T851, SU51) with different growth rates and different feeding strategies (HP vs LP) on the animals' feed intake ...
