Abstract Small and chiral secondary alcohols are sought‐after compounds that are frequently used in the synthesis of biologically active compounds. However, their stereochemically correct synthesis remains a challenge for the chemical industry. Synthetic routes are restrained by multiple steps and thus low atom efficiency.

Framework for Version Control & Dependency Link of Components & Products in a Software Product Line [PDF]
Software product line deals with the assembly of products from existing core assets commonly known as components and continuous growth in the core assets as we proceed with production. This idea has emerged as vital in terms of software development from component-based architecture. Since in software product line one has to deal with number of products

The measured infrared spectrum of lithium‐sodium orthoborate ((Li0.5Na0.5)3BO3) is shown by first principle calculations to be made up of contributions originating from the mixed alkali‐metal orthoborate Li5Na4B3O9, pyroborate Li2Na2B2O5 and carbonate LiNaCO3, showcasing the important effect of carbon dioxide absorption on the structural make‐up of the

L-R-smash product for (quasi) Hopf algebras [PDF]
We introduce a more general version of the so-called L-R-smash product and study its relations with other kinds of crossed products (two-sided smash and crossed product and diagonal crossed product). We also give an interpretation of the L-R-smash product in terms of an L-R-twisting datum.

Multi‐Omics Analysis Reveals Impacts of LincRNA Deletion on Yeast Protein Synthesis
This study demonstrates that the deletion of specific lincRNAs in yeast affects protein secretion. An engineered yeast strain, with multiple genetic modifications including lincRNA deletion, achieves a high yield of 4.1 g L⁻1 in fed‐batch cultivation.

Kontsevich and Takhtajan construction of star product on the Poisson Lie group GL(2) [PDF]
Comparing the star product defined by Takhtajan on the Poisson-Lie group GL(2) and any star product calculated from the Kontsevich's graphs (any ''K-star product'') on the same group, we show, by direct computation, that the Takhtajan star product on GL(2) can't be written as a K-star product.

Functional Polarization of Liver Macrophages by Glyco Gold Nanoparticles
Macrophages play a critical role in several pathophysiological diseases by being involved in the activation of adaptive and innate immune responses. The repolarization of macrophages using gold nanoparticles functionalized with glycans for a more selective targeting toward a restorative phenotype leads to an amelioration of the events.
