Ferredoxin from Bacillus Stearothermophilus
1976Ferredoxins are low molecular weight electron transfer proteins found in all types of living organisms (1–3). They are used in many reactions ocurring at low redox potentials. The active centre of the ferredoxins consists of a chromophore containing iron and labile sulphur atoms.
