Accurate simulations of magnetic excitations in the neutron simulation package McStas

open access: yesJournal of Applied Crystallography, Volume 59, Issue 3, Page 816-826, June 2026.
We present an accurate algorithm for simulating neutron scattering from spin waves in the ray‐tracing package McStas. An algorithm for the accurate simulation of neutron scattering from magnetic excitations has been developed and implemented as new component for the neutron ray‐tracing software McStas.

Diffuse scattering in silver hypodiphosphate, Ag4(P2O6), probed by 3D ED

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section C, Volume 82, Issue 6, Page 277-284, June 2026.
A 3D ED study of silver hypodiphosphate, Ag4(P2O6), has revealed diffuse scattering and was used to model real structure. The crystal structure of silver hypodiphosphate, Ag4(P2O6), was determined using 3D ED. The average structure is hexagonal, described in the space group P63/mcm, and is isomorphous with the average structure of known Li4(P2S6).

Accounting for Expected Cost Savings and Synergy Gains: The Role of Lenders’ Risk Preferences Comptabilisation des économies de coûts et des gains de synergie attendus : le rôle des préférences des prêteurs en matière de risque

open access: yesContemporary Accounting Research, Volume 43, Issue 2, Page 893-922, Summer 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper examines whether lenders' risk preferences explain the use of cost‐synergy adjustments in loan contracts. These adjustments represent an aggressive accounting choice that permits borrowers to add expected cost savings and synergy gains from mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings to contractual earnings. Using novel data from loan

Seasonal variation in the incidence of central serous chorioretinopathy: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesActa Ophthalmologica, Volume 104, Issue 4, Page 355-363, June 2026.
Abstract Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) is a chorioretinal disease characterised by serous subretinal fluid (SRF) in the macula, resulting in sudden central vision loss. It predominantly affects working‐age adults, particularly men aged 30 to 60 years.
