Energy storage properties of NaNbO3-CaZrO3 ceramics with coexistence of ferroelectric and antiferroelectric phases

Journal of the European Ceramic Society, 2018
Anti-ferroelectric materials with large saturated polarization, small remnant polarization, and moderate breakdown strength are receiving increasing attention for modern high-power electrical systems.

RIE EFFECT ON THE FERROELECTRIC PROPERTIES

Integrated Ferroelectrics, 2006
ABSTRACT Reactive Ion Etching (RIE) is used to etch the ferroelectric layer for the ferroelectric random access memories (FeRAMs) research, and the effect of RIE on the ferroelectric properties has been studied. The top platinum layer is etched by Ion Beam Etching (IBE) method, little polarization change has been observed after top electrode etching ...

Piezoelectric properties of a ferroelectric ceramic

Strength of Materials, 1984
1. The laser interferometer that was developed has a resolving power of 30 A and ensures an error no greater than 0.05% for the measurement of quasistatic strains, which makes it possible to use the interferometer to study the physicomechanical properties of lowductility ceramics. 2.

Ferroelectric properties of pyridinium perchlorate

Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 1994
Polycrystalline pyridinium perchlorate has been studied over a wide range of temperatures by differential thermal analysis, proton NMR spectra and relaxation, and dielectric permittivity measurements. Two solid-solid phase transitions at 232 and 248 K have been revealed and the pyridinium cation reorientations in all three phases characterized.

Polar properties of a mesoscopic ferroelectric

Ferroelectrics, 1997
Abstract At the 1995 Williamsburg workshop we reported[3] on the condensation of polar nanoregions in KTa1−x Nb x O3 approximately 20 K above the actual ferroelectric transition for Nb concentrations ranging from 1.2% to 30%. We have now studied the novel polar properties to which these nanoregions give rise.
