Construction and Validation of a Risk Prediction Model for Early Severe Intraventricular Hemorrhage in Very Low Birth Weight Infants

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, Volume 41, Issue 7, July 2025.
ABSTRACT In the past several years, prediction models for severe intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) in premature infants have emerged. However, few models have considered the importance of predictors related to the clinical course and hemostatic profile in predicting the risk of hemorrhage, such as the FiO2, hematocrit, and platelet count.

Tet Methylcytosine Dioxygenase 3 Promotes Cardiovascular Senescence by DNA 5‐Hydroxymethylcytosine‐Mediated Sp1 Transcription Factor Expression

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 6, Issue 7, July 2025.
TET3 was identified to be a key DNA‐active demethylase responsible for regulating cardiovascular senescence. TET3 facilitates the upregulation of SP1 through 5‐hmC modification, leading to a synergistic interaction between SP1 and ETS‐1 that further enhances p53 expression.
