RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Spontaneous and stimulated Raman scattering in long low loss fibers [PDF]
This paper considers the problem of forward Raman scattering process in a single transverse mode fiber. Both pump wave depletion and spontaneous scattering are considered in the analysis.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Hole-Assisted Graded-Index Four-LP-Mode Fiber With Low Differential Mode Group Delay Over C+L Band
In this paper, in order to achieve low differential mode group delay (DMGD) over the C+L band, we propose the hole-assisted graded-index few mode fiber (FMF) design supporting four nondegenerated linear polarized (LP) modes for a mode division ...

Large-effective-area uncoupled few-mode multi-core fiber [PDF]
Characteristics of few-mode multi-core fiber (FM-MCF) were numerically analyzed and experimentally confirmed. The cores of FM-MCF were designed to support transmission of LP(01) and LP(11) modes from the point of bending loss of LP(11) and LP(21) modes. Inter-core crosstalk between LP(11) mode was calculated to determine core pitch of fibers.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.
