Intrinsic Mechanical Parameters and their Characterization in Solid‐State Lithium Batteries
This review focuses on the intrinsic mechanical parameters and their associated characterization in solid‐state batteries. The physical significance of mechanics parameters is introduced with exhaustive classifications by elastic, plastic deformations and fracture in bulk, adhesion, friction at interfaces, and mechanical fatigue in cells ...

Software Development to Assist in the Processing and Analysis of Data Obtained Using Fiber Bragg Grating Interrogation Systems [PDF]
A fiber Bragg grating is a portion of a core of a fiber optic strand that has been treated to affect the way light travels through the strand. Light within a certain narrow range of wavelengths will be reflected along the fiber by the grating, while ...

Slow light with flat or offset band edges in multi-mode fiber with two gratings
We consider mode coupling in multimode optical fibers using either two Bragg gratings or a Bragg grating and a long-period grating. We show that the magnitude of the band edge curvature can be controlled leading to a flat, quartic band-edge or to two ...

Regeneration of tilted fiber Bragg gratings
The regeneration of Tilted Fiber Bragg Gratings photowritten in a singlemode SMF-28e fiber is investigated. Three tilted FBGs, with respectively 0°, 4° and 8° external tilt angles are annealed according to a conventional high temperature regeneration protocol.
