Nonlinear-dispersive similariton of passive fiber [PDF]
Using the spectral-interferometry method for the short pulse complete characterization, we demonstrate the nature and distinctive properties of the similariton generated in single-mode fiber without gain (passive fiber) due to the combined impacts of ...

Nonlinear spectral analysis of Peregrine solitons observed in optics and in hydrodynamic experiments [PDF]
The data recorded in optical fiber [1] and in hydrodynamic [2] experiments reported the pioneering observation of nonlinear waves with spatiotemporal localization similar to the Peregrine soliton are examined by using nonlinear spectral analysis.

This article studies dark, bright, trigonometric and rational optical soliton solutions to the perturbed nonlinear Schrödinger–Hirota equation (PNLSHE). Hence, we have examined two cases: first, restrictions have been done to the third-order (TOD) (γ) as

Speckle‐Engineered Upconversion Amplification in Nanoemulsion‐Templated Hydrogel Microdomes
Nanoemulsion‐confined PEGDA microdomes generate speckle‐like excitation fields that strongly amplify upconversion luminescence upon dehydration, enabling filter‐free visible readout with reversible on–off switching. DMD‐based lithography yields scalable, shape‐programmable arrays for moisture‐responsive displays and optical encryption.

Self-phase modulation effects and pulse propagation in gain-guided fibers [PDF]
We present a theoretical analysis of pulse propagation and self-focusing in a gain-guided (GG) fiber amplifier. A weak pulse is launched in the GG fiber when the input pulse reaches a critical power the pulse begins to collapse in the transverse ...
