Latent Diffusion Models for Virtual Battery Material Screening and Characterization

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 8, Issue 12, December 2025.
A newly developed virtual tool is designed to enhance the extraction of meaningful information from characterization technique data and effectively guides the screening of target battery materials based on functional requirements. Efficient characterization of battery materials is fundamental to understanding the underlying electrochemical mechanisms ...

(Random) Trees of Intermediate Volume Growth

open access: yesRandom Structures &Algorithms, Volume 67, Issue 4, December 2025.
ABSTRACT For every function g:ℝ≥0→ℝ≥0$$ g:{\mathbb{R}}_{\ge 0}\to {\mathbb{R}}_{\ge 0} $$ that grows at least linearly and at most exponentially, if it is sufficiently well‐behaved, we can construct a tree T$$ T $$ of uniform volume growth g$$ g $$, or more precisely, C1·g(r/4)≤|BG(v,r)|≤C2·g(4r),for allr≥0andv∈V(T),$$ {C}_1\cdotp g\left(r/4\right)\le \

Highly Scalable, Raspberry‐Like Microbeads with Nano‐/Micro‐Confined Hybrid Hydrogel Desiccants for Rapid Atmospheric Water Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 46, November 12, 2025.
A scalable nano‐/micro‐confinement strategy is developed, where polyacrylamide (PAM)‐LiCl hybrid desiccants are confined within hollow nanoparticles (HNPs) and assembled into raspberry‐like microbeads. The beads have a hydrogel‐rich core and an NP‐rich shell for fast absorption and desorption, releasing water 13.6 L kg⁻¹ day⁻¹.

Improving Maximum Tolerated Dose Selection in Model‐Assisted Designs for Phase I Trials Through Bayesian Dose–Response Model

open access: yesPharmaceutical Statistics, Volume 24, Issue 6, November/December 2025.
ABSTRACT Model‐assisted designs have garnered significant attention in recent years due to their high accuracy in identifying the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and their operational simplicity. To identify the MTD, they employ estimated dose limiting toxicity (DLT) probabilities via isotonic regression with pool‐adjacent violators algorithm (PAVA) after

On Doubled and Quadrupled Fibonacci Type Sequences

open access: yesAnnales Mathematicae Silesianae
In this paper we study a family of doubled and quadrupled Fibonacci type sequences obtained by distance generalization of Fibonacci sequence. In particular we obtain doubled Fibonacci sequence, doubled and quadrupled Padovan sequence and quadrupled ...

FIBONACCI TILINGS IN FASHION DESIGN [PDF]

open access: yesAnnals of the University of Oradea: Fascicle of Textiles, Leatherwork, 2016
The Fibonacci sequence is a symbol of beauty and harmony and by this reason geometrical objects in its proportions are used in the design. There are some versions of Fibonacci series tiling, which are constructed with equilateral geometrical figures ...

Register‐Based and Stack‐Based Virtual Machines: Which Perform Better in JIT Compilation Scenarios?

open access: yesSoftware: Practice and Experience, Volume 55, Issue 11, Page 1896-1910, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Just‐In‐Time (JIT) compilation plays a critical role in optimizing the performance of modern virtual machines (VMs). While the architecture of VMs–register‐based or stack‐based–has long been a subject of debate, empirical analysis focusing on JIT compilation performance is relatively sparse. Objective In this study, we aim to answer
