Fibrinogen/Fibrin Degradation Products in Acute Aortic Dissection
The elevated D-dimer value is one of the clues used to diagnose acute aortic dissection (AAD), but the rapid D-dimer assay is not used at all emergency hospitals. The fibrinogen/fibrin degradation products (FDP) value is also an indicator of enhanced fibrinolysis and may therefore be a useful marker in patients with AAD.

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.
