Down-regulation of FGFR3 expression aggravates the damage of articular chondrocyte superficial zone cells in mice [PDF]
Objective To investigate the effect of fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3) on articular cartilage superficial zone cells (SPZCs). Methods C57 mice were randomly divided into two groups: a sham operated group (sham group) and a group of surgically

Isolation of an additional member of the fibroblast growth factor receptor family, FGFR-3. [PDF]
The fibroblast growth factors are a family of polypeptide growth factors involved in a variety of activities including mitogenesis, angiogenesis, and wound healing. Fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs) have previously been identified in chicken, mouse, and human and have been shown to contain an extracellular domain with either two or three ...

Dual targeting of AKT and mTOR using MK2206 and RAD001 reduces tumor burden in an intracardiac colon cancer circulating tumor cell xenotransplantation model. Analysis of AKT isoform‐specific knockdowns in CTC‐MCC‐41 reveals differentially regulated proteins and phospho‐proteins by liquid chromatography coupled mass spectrometry. Circulating tumor cells

Alectinib resistance in ALK+ NSCLC depends on treatment sequence and EML4‐ALK variants. Variant 1 exhibited off‐target resistance after first‐line treatment, while variant 3 and later lines favored on‐target mutations. Early resistance involved off‐target alterations, like MET and NF2, while on‐target mutations emerged with prolonged therapy.

Probing the Effects of the FGFR-Inhibitor Derazantinib on Vascular Development in Zebrafish Embryos
Angiogenesis is a fundamental developmental process and a hallmark of cancer progression. Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTK) are targets for cancer therapy which may include their action as anti-angiogenic agents.

Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor-2 Contributes to the Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor-Induced Neuronal Differentiation in Canine Bone Marrow Stromal Cells via Phosphoinositide 3-Kinase/Akt Signaling Pathway. [PDF]
Bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) are considered as candidates for regenerative therapy and a useful model for studying neuronal differentiation. The role of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) in neuronal differentiation has been previously studied ...
