Molecular Mechanisms of Rotator Cuff Degeneration Identified by Spatial Transcriptomics and Multiplex Immunofluorescence

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Research, Volume 44, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Rotator cuff tear (RCT) is a prevalent age‐related condition whose underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. This study employed spatial transcriptomics and multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) to investigate gene expression and spatial heterogeneity in rotator cuff tissues from elderly RCT patients compared to age‐matched controls, aiming

A Quantitative Histological Study of Tendon/Ligament – Bone Interface “Enthesis” in Human Knee Joint

open access: yesJournal of Rawalpindi Medical College, 2012
Background: The distal epiphyseal attachments of patellar ligament and semimembranosus tendon were compared by routine histology in view of their role as mechanical barrier and primary pathological site for spondyloarthropathies.
