KLK1 as an Epithelial‐Specific Brake Inhibits Colorectal Tumorigenesis by Suppressing B1R‐Mediated Fibroblast Phenotypic Transition

KLK1 downregulation disrupts the intestinal mucosal barrier and impairs kallikrein‐kinin signaling, thereby reducing Lys‐des‐Arg9‐BK production. This enhances B1R activation on ADAMDEC1⁺ fibroblasts, promoting inflammation and extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling. This study investigates adenomyosis fibrosis in relation to nociceptive nerves. Nociceptive nerve‐secreted CGRP promotes RAMP1hi CD140b+ CD146+ fibroblast differentiation into myofibroblasts through ERK activation, causing severe fibrosis.
