Modifiable risk factors for epilepsy: A two‐sample Mendelian randomization study
Genetic predisposition to depression and smoking initiation were associated with an increased risk of epilepsy. Genetic predicted higher iron status was associated with an increased risk of epilepsy. There was a suggestive association of serum magnesium with epilepsy.
