We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Beauty Quark Fragmentation Into Strange B Mesons
Using the recent measurement of the total production rate for $B_s$ and $B_s^*$ mesons in electron-positron annihilation to determine the strange quark mass parameter in the $\bar b\to B_s,\, B_s^*$ fragmentation functions we calculate the momentum ...

Isolated-photon production in polarized pp collisions [PDF]
We perform a detailed study of the production of isolated prompt photons in polarized hadronic collisions, in the centre-of-mass energy range relevant to RHIC.

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

INCLUSIVE PARTICLE PRODUCTION IN $\pbp$ COLLISIONS
We calculate the inclusive production of charged hadrons in $\pbp$ collisions to next-to-leading order (NLO) in the QCD improved parton model using a new set of NLO fragmentation functions for charged pions and kaons.

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

Addressing transversity with interference fragmentation functions
The class of interference fragmentation functions, arising from interference among different hadron production channels, is reconsidered. Their symmetry properties with respect to chiral transformations allow building spin asymmetries where the quark ...

Momentum Spectra in the Current Region of the Breit Frame in Deep Inelastic Scattering at HERA [PDF]
The production of charged particles has been measured in deep inelastic scattering (DIS) with the ZEUS detector. The evolution of the moments of the scaled momenta distributions in $Q^2$ and $x$ has been investigated in the current fragmentation region ...

libInterMAC: Beyond Confidentiality and Integrity in Practice
Boldyreva et al. (Eurocrypt 2012) defined a fine-grained security model capturing ciphertext fragmentation attacks against symmetric encryption schemes. The model was extended by Albrecht et al. (CCS 2016) to include an integrity notion.
