Determination of milk quality indicators and first streams depending on the stage of lactation and daily milk yield

open access: yesScientific Horizons
The relevance of the study is to solve the problem of cow's milk quality and the influence of factors of lactation stage and daily milk yield on milk parameters, and to establish links between the content of somatic cells in milk and other milk parameters.

Beyond Probiotics: Postbiotics for Healthy Aquaculture

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This critical review assesses limitations of probiotics and proposes postbiotics, preparations of inanimate microorganisms and their metabolites, as a more stable, controlled, and biosafe formulation. Postbiotics offer significant advantages during industrial aquafeed production and storage. However, their practical implementation is currently hindered

Productivity of Holstein cows with early insemination of heifers

open access: yesТваринництво та технології харчових продуктів
The age at first insemination is a critical factor influencing the duration of the non productive period, subsequent milk yield, and reproductive performance of cows. Accordingly, the study aimed to determine the impact of early insemination age on cows’

Genetic and environmental parameters and trends for milk production of Holstein cattle in Turkey

open access: yesItalian Journal of Animal Science, 2012
Data from 4143 Holstein cattle from three herds in Turkey were used to study the influences of genetic and environmental factors on milk production traits as well as genetic and environmental trends over 20 years from 1987 to 2006.

Relation between first lactation milk yield and functional traits in dairy cows

open access: yes, 2020
The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between first lactation milk yield (FLMY) and age at first calving (AFC), longevity and productive life in dairy cows. The study covered 944 Holstein cows housed in 5 dairy cattle farms in Bulgaria. All cows from the five farms culled in the period 2012–2018 with FLMY data were included.

Relationships between symptoms and changes in breast physiology during lactation mastitis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
OBJECTIVE: The objective was to investigate changes in milk composition that reflect variations in breast permeability, milk synthesis, and immune response in women before, during, and after mastitis. METHODS: Mothers (n = 26) were followed prospectively

A Metabolic‐Epigenetic Axis of AARS1/IGF2BP3‐K280 Lactylation Sustains Endometrial Cancer Stemness and Recurrence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lactate‐driven endometrial cancer relapse is mediated by enzymatic protein modification. Elevated lactate levels activate AARS1, which catalyzes K280 lactylation of IGF2BP3, therefore stabilizing HMGA2 mRNA and promoting tumor stemness and recurrence.

Genetic and phenotypic relationships among endocrine and traditional fertility traits and production traits in Holstein-Friesian dairy cows [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
The objective of this study was to estimate the heritability of a number of traditional and endocrine fertility traits in addition to d-56 predicted milk yield (MY56), and the genetic and phenotypic correlations between these traits.

Magnetically Guided Macrophage Immunobots Coordinate Iron‐Metabolic Cascades and Immunogenic Ferroptosis for Tumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Magnetically guided macrophage immunobots integrate active tumor targeting with immunometabolic therapy. After systemic administration, magnetic actuation enhances immunobot retention and tumor penetration, while LPS‐functionalized FePt microrollers sustain M1‐like polarization through inflammatory and iron‐amplified oxidative signaling and trigger ...
