Genome Sequencing, Assembly, and Characterization of Cyberlindnera rhodanensis J52 as a Non-Saccharomyces Yeast with Ester-Enhancing Potential

open access: yesJournal of Fungi
Cyberlindnera rhodanensis J52, a non-Saccharomyces yeast isolated from edible roses, markedly improves the organoleptic qualities of fermented foods. To facilitate the development and application of this strain, this study sequenced and assembled the ...

Physics in fish processing technology [PDF]

open access: yes, 1971
To design, develop and put into operation an equipment either to increase the productivity or to improve the existing technique to obtain a better quality of the product, the fishery engineer/scientist should have a comprehensive knowledge of fundamental

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

DIVERSIFICATION OF FISHERIES PRODUCTS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Global market and product distribution development make us easy to find various products from other countries in Indonesia. We can find salmon from Europe or Tasmania in any supermarket in Indonesia. Fresh tuna from Indonesia can be found easily in Japan.

Improving PARP inhibitor efficacy in bladder cancer without genetic BRCAness by combination with PLX51107

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

A general extrudate bulk density model for both twin-screw and single-screw extruder extrusion cooking processes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Effects of extrusion parameters and raw materials on extrudate expansion are respectively investigated in a twin-screw extruder and a single-screw extruder extrusion cooking experiments for fish feed, wheat, and oat & wheat mixture processing.

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.
