While dupilumab provides rapid improvement, there is limited evidence on long‐term outcomes beyond 2 years, and the clinical impact of dosing‐interval extension remains unclear.

Modeling Catheter‐Associated Bladder Mucosal Adhesion and Microtrauma Using a Human Urothelial Microtissue Model

Advanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
Intermittent catheter use can damage the urinary tract and predispose to infection. We deployed a complex human urothelial model to investigate. Catheter contact induced compressive and shear stress causing umbrella cell disruption, reduced barrier function, inflammation and increased cell adhesion to the catheter surface.
