INDIRECT FIELD-ORIENTED CONTROL OF FIVE-PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR DRIVES [PDF]

open access: yesERJ. Engineering Research Journal, 2011
Five -phase ac motor drives are nowadays considered for various applications, due to numerous advantages that they offer when compared to three-phase motors. Variable speed induction motor drives without mechanical speed sensors at the motor shaft have the attractions of low cost and high reliability.

Fault Diagnosis of Induction Motor Based on a Novel Intelligent Framework and Transient Current Signals

open access: yes, 2013
This paper deals with fault diagnosis of induction motor containing common faults by using a novel intelligent framework and transient stator current signals. This framework consists of a Fourier-Bessel (FB) expansion for analyzing the transient signals,

Right Harmonic Spectrum for the back-electromotive force of a n-phase synchronous motor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
This paper deals with a vector control of n-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine. To use control algorithms already developed for sine-wave 3-phase machines, the spectrum of back electromotive force (EMF) must contain only odd 2k+1 harmonics which ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

An improved fault tolerant for a five-phase induction machine under open gate transistor faults

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2016
Of the different outstanding merits of multiphase machines is their ability to run steadily with some phases open. Commonly, optimal current control (OCC) to remaining healthy phases is usually engaged to ensure a certain optimization criterion.

A Novel Sensorless Control for Multiphase Induction Motor Drives Based on Singularly Perturbed Sliding Mode Observer-Experimental Validation

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
This paper aims to develop an innovative sensorless control approach for a five-phase induction motor (IM) drive. The operation principle of the sensorless scheme is based on the sliding mode theory, within which a sliding mode observer (SMO) estimates ...

Effect of winding harmonics on the asynchronous torque of a single-phase line start permanant-magnet motor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
This paper presents an analytical method for calculating the effect of winding harmonics on the asynchronous torque of a single-phase line-start permanent-magnet motor.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Optimized Zero Vector Selection in Space Vector Pulse Density Modulation Schemes for Two-Level Inverter Fed Induction Motor Drive

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2023
Space Vector Pulse Density Modulation (SVPDM) schemes for adjustable speed drives are digital modulation scheme with less computational overhead. The SVPDM based drives provide better spectral features and reduced acoustic noise in motor than Space ...
