A modified generic second order algorithm with fixed-time stability

ISA Transactions, 2021
This paper introduces a modified second order sliding mode algorithm with fixed-time stability analysis based on the Lyapunov function approach. An existing second order sliding mode algorithm is generalized, which provides superior features on convergence rate, accuracy, and robustness against a class of perturbations.

Fixed time stability of impulsive stochastic nonlinear time‐varying systems

International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2023
AbstractThe aim of the article is to discuss stochastic fixed‐time (FIXT) stability of impulsive stochastic nonlinear time‐varying systems. By using the multiple Lyapunov method and stochastic analysis theory, several novel stability theorems for determining stochastic FIXT stability are established.

Fixed-Time Synchronization of Fractional-Order Multilayer Complex Networks Via a New Fixed-Time Stability Theorem

Journal of Computational and Nonlinear Dynamics, 2023
AbstractFixed-time synchronization of fractional-order multilayer complex networks is studied in this paper. At first, a novel fixed-time stability theorem for the fractional-order nonlinear system is presented. The stability theorem is a generalization of the integer order stability theorem and plays an important role on the synchronization schemes ...

A new fixed-time stability theorem and its application to the fixed-time synchronization of neural networks

Neural Networks, 2020
In this paper, we derive a new fixed-time stability theorem based on definite integral, variable substitution and some inequality techniques. The fixed-time stability criterion and the upper bound estimate formula for the settling time are different from those in the existing fixed-time stability theorems. Based on the new fixed-time stability theorem,

Fixed-time stabilization of impulsive Cohen–Grossberg BAM neural networks

Neural Networks, 2018
This article is concerned with the fixed-time stabilization for impulsive Cohen-Grossberg BAM neural networks via two different controllers. By using a novel constructive approach based on some comparison techniques for differential inequalities, an improvement theorem of fixed-time stability for impulsive dynamical systems is established. In addition,

Fixed-time spacecraft attitude stabilization using homogeneous method

2016 UKACC 11th International Conference on Control (CONTROL), 2016
Fixed-time controller features an upper bound of settling time, which does not depend on the initial states of control system. In view of that nearly all the existing fixed-time control methods are based on the terminal sliding mode technique, the problem of fixed-time attitude stabilization of a rigid spacecraft is investigated based on a homogeneous ...

Fixed-time stability theorem of stochastic nonlinear systems

International Journal of Control, 2018
To solve the fixed-time stability problem for stochastic systems, which has not been investigated due to the difficulty caused by the existence of stochastic, the fixed-time stability is investigat...

Finite-time and fixed-time stability and synchronization

2016 35th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2016
Recently, finite-time and fixed-time stability has been a hot topic in the study of dynamical systems. In this paper, we will provide an insightful view on this issue and explore the intrinsic property by mathematical analysis. Several theorems and corollaries show how to find the settling time. Moreover, we apply the corresponding theory on the finite-
