Fixed-target hadron production experiments [PDF]
Results from fixed-target hadroproduction experiments (HARP, MIPP, NA49 and NA61/SHINE) as well as their implications for cosmic ray and neutrino physics are reviewed.

Searching for axino-like particle at fixed target experiments [PDF]
We investigate the detectability of axino-like particle, which is defined as a supersymmetric partner of axion-like particle and can be a good candidate for dark matter in our Universe. Especially, we consider the fixed target experiments to search for the light axino-like particle with a neutralino as the next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle.

Some proposed fixed target experiments with the LHC beams [PDF]
The physics opportunities offered by using the multi-TeV LHC beams for a fixed target experiment have been widely discussed in recent years. This mode is convenient to investigate rare processes of particle production and polarization phenomena because ...

Monopoles from an Atmospheric Fixed Target Experiment
Magnetic monopoles have a long history of theoretical predictions and experimental searches, carrying direct implications for fundamental concepts such as electric charge quantization. We analyze in detail for the first time magnetic monopole production from collisions of cosmic rays bombarding the atmosphere. This source of monopoles is independent of

Search for sub-millicharged particles at J-PARC
We studied the feasibility of an experiment searching for sub-millicharged particles (χs) using 30 GeV proton fixed-target collisions at J-PARC. The detector is composed of two layers of stacked scintillator bars and PMTs and is proposed to be installed ...

Fixed target experiments at the Fermilab Tevatron [PDF]
This paper presents a review of the study of Exclusive Central Production at a center-of-mass energy of [Formula: see text] at the Fermilab Fixed Target program. In all reactions reviewed in this paper, protons with an energy of 800 GeV were extracted from the Tevatron accelerator at Fermilab and directed to a Liquid Hydrogen target.

Single π0 production in μe scattering at MUonE
The recently proposed MUonE experiment at CERN aims at providing a novel determination of the leading order hadronic contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment through the study of elastic muon-electron scattering at relatively small momentum ...

Spin Physics with a fixed-target experiment at the LHC [PDF]
The multi-TeV proton and ion beams of the LHC would allow for the most energetic fixed-target experiment ever. In particular, $pp$, $p$d and $p$A collisions could be performed at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 115~GeV, as well as Pb$p$ and PbA collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 72~GeV, in a parasitic way by making use of the already existing LHCb and ALICE detectors ...
