Developments in target micro-doppler signatures analysis: radar imaging, ultrasound and through-the-wall radar [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Target motions, other than the main bulk translation of the target, induce Doppler modulations around the main Doppler shift that form what is commonly called a target micro-Doppler signature.

Prospective for A Fixed-Target ExpeRiment at the LHC: AFTER @ LHC [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of 36th International Conference on High Energy Physics — PoS(ICHEP2012), 2013
We argue that the concept of a multi-purpose fixed-target experiment with the proton or lead-ion LHC beams extracted by a bent crystal would offer a number of ground-breaking precision-physics opportunities. The multi-TeV LHC beams will allow for the most energetic fixed-target experiments ever performed.

DsTau: study of tau neutrino production with 400 GeV protons from the CERN-SPS

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
In the DsTau experiment at the CERN SPS (NA65), an independent and direct way to measure tau neutrino production following high energy proton interactions was proposed.

M3: a new muon missing momentum experiment to probe (g − 2) μ and dark matter at Fermilab

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
New light, weakly-coupled particles are commonly invoked to address the persistent ∼ 4σ anomaly in (g−2) μ and serve as mediators between dark and visible matter.

Hadroproduction of quarkonium in fixed-target experiments

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1996
We analyze charmonium and bottomonium production at fixed target experiments. We find that inclusion of color octet production channels removes large discrepancies between experiment and the predictions of the color singlet model for the total production cross section. Furthermore, including octet contributions accounts for the observed direct to total

Azimuthal single- and double-spin asymmetries in semi-inclusive deep-inelastic lepton scattering by transversely polarized protons

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
A comprehensive set of azimuthal single-spin and double-spin asymmetries in semi-inclusive leptoproduction of pions, charged kaons, protons, and antiprotons from transversely polarized protons is presented.

Light gluinos and fixed target experiments

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1986
Abstract Light gluino production cross sections in πp and pp interactions, and the missing energy distribution have been calculated for a calorimetry beam-dump experiment, at present and future accelerators. The effect of experimental cuts combined with the gluino fragmentation is discussed and compared with collider experiments.
