Measurement of the burning velocity of strongly curved methane-air flames [PDF]
An experimental and numerical study has been carried out of the region around the tip of a methane-air premixed flame attached to a circular laminar jet burner. On the experimental side, photographic records and PIV have been used to measure the shape of

This work report a n electrolyte‑induced interfacial/bulk dual regulation strategy that enables negligible capacity decay in li‑rich cathodes. ABSTRACT Lithium‐rich manganese‐based oxides (LRMO) suffer from rapid capacity decay, mainly driven by interfacial instability and bulk structural degradation associated with Jahn‐Teller (J‐T) distortion in Mn3+‐

This review traces the evolution of lithium‐ion battery separators from passive barriers to multifunctional components central to cell safety and performance. Polymer‐ceramic hybrids, nanofiber architectures, and bio‐derived membranes deliver ionic conductivities above 3 mS cm−1, thermal stability beyond 200 °C, and effective suppression of lithium ...

The Characteristics of Methane Combustion Suppression by Water Mist and Its Engineering Applications
To safely mine coal, engineers must prevent gas combustion and explosions, as well as seek feasible and reasonable techniques to control for these types of incidents. This paper analyzes the causes and characteristics of methane combustion and explosions.

The Diversity of Type Ia Supernovae from Broken Symmetries
Type Ia supernovae result when carbon-oxygen white dwarfs in binary systems accrete mass from companion stars, reach a critical mass, and explode. The near uniformity of their light curves makes these supernovae good standard candles for measuring cosmic

CFD Modelling of Flame Stretch in SI Engines
AbstractThe flame stretch is a phenomenon that affects the combustion initial stage in premixed charge Spark-Ignition (SI) engines with consequences on the laminar burning velocity, so its correct description is fundamental to predict the further turbulent flame development. In the context of a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) investigation, two ...

ABSTRACT This research focused on characterizing graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) nanocomposites incorporated with ZnO and Ag2O nanoparticles, and carrageenan to remove heavy metals. The ZnO/Ag2O@ g‐C3N4 and ZnO/Ag2O/g‐C3N4@Carr nanocomposites demonstrated thermal stability of 97.40% (108.81°C) and 82.80% (188.99°C) for TGA.
