Constraining wormhole geometries using the orbit of S2 star and the Event Horizon Telescope
In this paper we study the possibility of having a wormhole (WH) as a candidate for the Sgr A $$^\star $$ ⋆ central object and test this idea by constraining their geometry using the motion of S2 star and the reconstructed shadow images.

Mass accretion to young stars triggered by flaring activity in circumstellar disks [PDF]
Young low-mass stars are characterized by ejection of collimated outflows and by circumstellar disks which they interact with through accretion of mass.

Solar–Stellar Connection: X-Ray Flares to Energetic (E > 10 MeV) Particle Events
Energetic particle environments are an important factor for the viability of life on exoplanets surrounding flare stars. In the heliosphere, large gradual solar energetic ( E > 10 MeV) particle (SEP) events are produced by shocks from fast coronal mass ...

The Evolution Of LMC X-4 Flares: Evidence For Super-Eddington Radiation Oozing Through Inhomogeneous Polar Cap Accretion Flows ? [PDF]
We present the results of two extensive Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer observations of large X-ray flaring episodes from the high-mass X-ray binary pulsar LMC X-4. Light curves during the flaring episodes comprise bright peaks embedded in relatively fainter

A new flare star member candidate in the Pleiades cluster
We present a new flare star, which was discovered during our survey on a selected field at the edge of the Pleiades cluster. The field was observed in the period 2007 - 2010 with three different CCD-cameras at the University Observatory Jena with ...

The MUSCLES Treasury Survey. V. FUV Flares on Active and Inactive M Dwarfs [PDF]
M dwarf stars are known for their vigorous flaring. This flaring could impact the climate of orbiting planets, making it important to characterize M dwarf flares at the short wavelengths that drive atmospheric chemistry and escape.

Statistical Analysis and the OPEA Model of the White-Light Flares Occurring on Kr\"uger 60B (DO Cep)
In this study, new observations and some results of statistical analyses are presented. The largest flare data set of DO Cep in the literature has been obtained with 89 flares detected in 67.61 hours of U-band flare patrol. First of all, the observations

A White Light Megaflare on the dM4.5e Star YZ CMi
On UT 2009 January 16, we observed a white light megaflare on the dM4.5e star YZ CMi as part of a long-term spectroscopic flare-monitoring campaign to constrain the spectral shape of optical flare continuum emission.

The Soft X-ray Lightcurves of Partially Eclipsed Stellar Flares [PDF]
Most stellar flares' soft X-ray lightcurves possess a `typical' morphology, which consists of a rapid rise followed by a slow exponential decay. However, a study of 216 of the brightest flares on 161 pre-main sequence stars, observed during the Chandra ...

What caused the GeV flare of PSR B1259-63 ? [PDF]
PSR B1259-63 is a gamma-ray binary system composed of a high spindown pulsar and a massive star. Non-thermal emission up to TeV energies is observed near periastron passage, attributed to emission from high energy e+e- pairs accelerated at the shock with
