Strong magnetic field in W75N OH maser flare
A flare of OH maser emission was discovered in W75N in 2000. Its location was determined with the VLBA to be within 110 au from one of the ultracompact H II regions, VLA2. The flare consisted of several maser spots.

Objective Several case reports have proposed a potential association between COVID‐19 vaccination and the subsequent development of idiopathic inflammatory myositis (IIM). This study examined prior COVID‐19 vaccination in US Veterans who developed new‐onset IIM compared to those without new‐onset IIM.

The unluckiest star orbits a supermassive black hole elliptically. Every time it reaches the pericenter, it shallowly enters the tidal radius and gets partially tidally disrupted, producing a series of flares.

Addressing Economic Insecurities Can Improve Patient‐Reported Outcomes in Lupus
Background Economic insecurities, such as food, housing, transportation, and financial challenges, are modifiable risk factors and influence patient‐reported outcomes (PROs) in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). We examined: 1) associations between economic insecurities and PROs; 2) the impact of screening and addressing economic insecurities during ...

Variability of millimeter wavelength continuum emission from Class II protoplanetary disks is extremely rare, and when detected, it is usually interpreted as originating from nonthermal emission mechanisms that relate to the host star itself rather than ...

Emission lines from tidally disrupted white dwarfs and other evolved stars
When a black hole tidally disrupts a star, accretion of the debris will produce a luminous flare and reveal the presence of a dormant black hole. The accretion flare can also photoionize a portion of the post-disruption debris.
