Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Universal sectors of two-dimensional Carrollian CFTs
We revisit modular invariance in two-dimensional Carrollian conformal field theories from a geometric perspective. Focusing on the characters of the induced and highest-weight representations of the theory, we show that there are regions of parameter ...

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Fabrication of tube-embedded cooling channel through press-fit and directed energy deposition
Thermoplastic polymeric products are widely used in everyday life; the quality of their molded parts is substantially affected by the cooling characteristics of the mold. This study proposes fabricating a cooling channel through tube embedding inside the

Abruptly changing from aerobic to anaerobic conditions (sudden anaerobization) induced growth inhibition and a significant increase in intracellular labile ferrous iron in the aerotolerant anaerobe Amphibacillus xylanus. We found that free flavins mediate efficient electron transfer from NADH to ferric iron under anaerobic conditions, suggesting that ...

Analysing Attenuation Losses of a Power Line Cable [PDF]
This research focuses on the determination of the channel frequency response losses for a length of power cable, which is crucial in determining the channel bandwidth performance. The parameters of the power line cable model are determined by measurement.
