In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Observer dependent D-brane for strings propagating in pp-wave time dependent background
We study type IIB superstring in the pp-wave time-dependent background, which has a singularity at $t=0$. We show that this background can provide a toy model to study some ideas related to the stretched horizon paradigm and the complementary principle ...

A slip model for micro/nano gas flows induced by body forces [PDF]
A slip model for gas flows in micro/nano-channels induced by external body forces is derived based on Maxwell's collision theory between gas molecules and the wall.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

A CM based equalizer for space-time spreading over channels with inter-Symbol interference [PDF]
Space-time block coding (STBC) and a number of derivative techniques have been developed to maximize the diversity gain of a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) channel.

Scaling in Complex Systems: Analytical Theory of Charged Pores
In this paper we find an analytical solution of the equilibrium ion distribution for a toroidal model of a ionic channel, using the Perfect Screening Theorem (PST).

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.
