Hypersonic oscillating shock-wave/boundary-layer interaction on a flat plate
This work discusses the design, measurement, and simulation of an oscillating shock-wave/boundary-layer interaction on a flat plate at Mach 5.8 and Re ∞ =7×10 6 m −1 Re∞=7×106 m−1.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF SOLAR WATER HEATER FOR THE OPTIMAL TILT ANGLE AT DIFFERENT FLOW RATES BY USING FLAT PLATE COLLECTOR [PDF]
The goal of the current work is to investigate the performance characteristics of solar flat plate collectors at various tilt angles. One of the most significant solar energy-capturing devices is the flat plate collector, which runs on either water or ...

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

S‐Wave Receiver Function Analysis of the Pampean Flat‐Slab Region: Evidence for a Torn Slab
Flat‐slab subduction is an atypical form of subduction where the downgoing plate assumes a low‐angle or subhorizontal geometry as it descends beneath the overriding plate.

Error-Index-Based Algorithm for Low-Velocity Impact Localization
Flat plates and cylindrical shells are commonly used in large equipment. To locate the low-velocity impact points in these structures, this study proposes an error-index-based algorithm for impact localization.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Images of Arc-Heated Supersonic Argon Plasma Jet Impinging on a Flat Plate
Low-density flow fields are usually difficult to visualize using ordinary optical methods. However, plasma flows, having high temperature or excited species in them, may show up some features of the flow field in a simple photograph.
