Diffusion of Electric Current Into Rods, Tubes, and Flat Surfaces

Transactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, 1947
Electric current density penetrates or ``soaks'' into an electric conductor starting from the surface during current transients in a manner physically and mathematically analogous to thermal diffusion in transient heat flow. This useful concept is used to explain physically and evaluate numerically transient resistance and inductance of conductors ...

EFFICIENCY FACTOR OF RECTANGULAR FIN OF FLAT-OVAL TUBE

2019
An empirical dependence for calculating the efficiency factor of a flat rectangular fin, located on the straight sides of the flat-oval tube, taking into account, apart from the known parameters the length of the contact line between the fin and the carrier tube are proposed.

OPTIMAL HEIGHT OF TRANSVERSAL FINS OF FLAT-OVAL TUBE

2017
Based on experimental studies and analysis of intensity of heat transfer and aerodynamic drag of flat-oval tubes bundles the optimization of transversal finning height is carried out. The influence of the used material on optimal finning height is analyzed.
