eDNA Collected by Custom‐Built Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) Reveals Spatio‐Temporal Shifts in Tropical Coral Reef Faunal Communities

Self‐constructed Unmanned Surface Vehicles were deployed at coral reefs on Reunion Island to capture environmental DNA (eDNA), identifying changes in animal communities depending on the time of day and sampling station. These findings suggest specific sites for high‐frequency, long‐term eDNA monitoring using low‐cost mobile devices.
