Flavour changing neutral currents in intersecting brane models [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2003
Intersecting D-brane models provide an attractive explanation of family replication in the context of string theory. We show, however, that the localization of fermion families at different brane intersections in the extra dimensions introduces flavour changing neutral currents mediated by the Kaluza-Klein excitations of the gauge fields.

A three Higgs doublet model with symmetry-suppressed flavour changing neutral currents [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We construct a three-Higgs doublet model with a flavour non-universal U(1) × ℤ2 symmetry. That symmetry induces suppressed flavour-changing interactions mediated by neutral scalars.

Production of t$γ$, tZ and tH via Flavour Changing Neutral Currents [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A UFO model describing general top quark Flavour Changing Neutral Currents is presented. We use it to study t$γ$, tH and tZ production via FCNCs anomalous couplings at the Large Hadron Collider, in particular how the distributions of physical observables depend on the anomalous couplings.

Controlled flavour changing neutral couplings in two Higgs Doublet models [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
We propose a class of two Higgs doublet models where there are flavour changing neutral currents (FCNC) at tree level, but under control due to the introduction of a discrete symmetry in the full Lagrangian.

Single-top production via flavour changing neutral currents

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C, 2003
Recent results on single-top production via flavour changing neutral currents (FCNC) are summarised. Model independent limits can be set directly for the process at both LEP and HERA and indirectly from the decays of the top quark at the TeVatron. No evidence for FCNC are observed at LEP and the TeVatron.

Searches for flavour changing neutral currents in the top sector

open access: yes, 2016
Flavour Changing Neutral Current (FCNC) processes are forbidden at tree level in the Standard Model and highly suppressed at higher orders. This makes FCNC one of the key processes to search for new physics since any small deviations from the Standard Model expectations could have a big impact.

A search for flavour changing neutral currents in top-quark decays in pp collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at s√=7TeV [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A search for flavour changing neutral current (FCNC) processes in top-quark decays by the ATLAS Collaboration is presented. Data collected from pp collisions at the LHC at a centre-of-mass energy of s√=7TeV during 2011, corresponding to an integrated ...
