Flavor structures of quarks and leptons from flipped SU(5) GUT with A 4 modular flavor symmetry
We propose to generate the flavor structures of the Standard Model plus neutrinos from flipped SU(5) GUT with A 4 modular flavor symmetry. Possible way to assign different moduli values for quarks and leptons in modular GUT scheme is discussed.

Neutrino masses and flavour symmetry [PDF]
The problem of neutrino masses and mixing angles is analysed in a class of supersymmetric grand unified models, withSO(10) gauge symmetry and globalU(2) flavour symmetry. Adopting the seesaw mechanism for the generation of the neutrino masses, one obtains a mass matrix for the left-handed neutrinos which is directly related to the parameters of the ...

Flavourful SMEFT likelihood for Higgs and electroweak data
We perform an updated fit to LHC Higgs data and LEP electroweak precision tests in the framework of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). We assume a generic structure of the SMEFT operators without imposing any flavour symmetries.

Finite family groups for fermionic and leptoquark mixing patterns
We employ a bottom-up and model-independent technique to search for non-Abelian discrete flavour symmetries capable of predicting viable CKM and PMNS matrices alongside of special patterns of leptoquark couplings.

Leading directions in the SMEFT
Short-distance new physics at (or slightly) above the TeV scale should not excessively violate the approximate flavor symmetries of the SM in order to comply with stringent constraints from flavor-changing neutral currents.

Consequences of a U(2) flavour symmetry [PDF]
While solving the supersymmetric flavour problem, a U(2) flavour symmetry might be at the origin of the pattern of fermion masses and mixings. The consequences of this hypothesis are spelled out concerning the parameters of the CKM matrix and their observability in B- and K-physics.

We study the flavor structure of the lepton and baryon number-conserving dimension-6 operators in the Standard Model effective field theory (SMEFT). Building on the work of [1], we define several well-motivated flavor symmetries and symmetry-breaking ...
