A Time-History Contact Force Model of the Dynamic Load of AERORail Structures
This study proposes two curves that depict the vehicle–bridge contact force in a novel transportation system named AERORail, which is a lightweight cable-supported structure in which the rails and the prestressed cable form the load bearing system. Based

Vibration Control for Two Kinds of Flexible Mechanical Systems With Full State Output Constraints
This paper concentrates on the vibration control problem of a flexible string system and a flexible Euler-Bernoulli beam system for considering full state output constraints, i.e., deflection and speed constraints.

Shear deformation dominates in the soft adhesive layers of the laminated structure of flexible electronics [PDF]
Flexible electronics has attracted much attention in recent years due to the favorable applications to many emerging devices. A novel laminated structure for a new-generation of flexible electronics is composed of several thin layers where the hard ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

MODELING AND CONTROL OF FLEXIBLE STRUCTURES WITH WEAKNESSES
The modeling and control of flexible structures with weaknesses is investigated. First a modular, computationally efficient, and numerically stable method is presented, which allows to obtain the dynamic model of a robot constituted by flexible links ...

Tunable flexible artificial synapses : a new path toward a wearable electronic system
The flexible electronics has been deemed to be a promising approach to the wearable electronic systems. However, the mismatching between the existing flexible devices and the conventional computing paradigm results an impasse in this field. In this work,

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...
